Here’s what we know so far about the 2016 Christmas Special
Matt Lucas returns as Nardole, first introduced in last year’s Christmas special, The Husbands Of River Song
It will feature a comic-book superhero named Grant, played by Canadian actor Justin Chatwin
The Doctor teams up with an investigative journalist, played by Charity Wakefield (Wolf Hall, The Player) and the aforementioned superhero to save New York from a deadly alien threat!
